“Secret Weapon”

Good morning,

Ephesians 6:18-20. praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
I had missed writing to you all, but I had been unwell and just couldn’t write. Though I had loads of thoughts running through my head.

Thank God. I am much better.

During this time while I was unwell, I remembered some statements I hear all the time…

“Wow I can’t imagine how you do all you do”

“You are my superwoman”

“You are so strong”…

As I laid down weak to the bone I thought to myself, only if they could see me right now. Yes I do a lot in my life, and I always say I have never met anyone like me. (Am sure there are out there or even do more).

But all I could remember as I laid there was this scripture

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

This is my secret weapon to how I deal with my lifestyle. So I usually know that when I haven’t spent enough time with the Lord, I get weak and run down. I might be active and still flowing in the spirit but that is only because…

Romans 11:29, or the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

At that point I know the Lord is just trying to get my attention, to never take my eyes of him and turn my heart towards him.

You know sometimes we get so overwhelmed with life, children, work and church and we are not splitting our time properly and expect God to understand.

We just have to remember he is the one whom gave us this life in the first place.

As a good (trying to be good child of God, lol 😁). I immediately went to my knees and repented.

Then I prayed this prayer…

Psalm 27:7, Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and answer me.

When things are seeming unbalanced remember there is one part of your life that is lacking attention. This is mostly our spiritual life.

Keep your eye on the ball…

Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Be blessed and have a great week 😇🙏😘
