I’m in a season where I can’t handle distractions

Good morning,

I have been so naughty this week I haven’t even written once. I just have a very important project I am doing and I had to give all my attention.

So there is a topic I have always wanted to talk about. I have struggled to write about it because I nearly sound wrong. Also when I have the discussions with people or try to advice them about this topic I can’t seem to get my words write without hurting someone’s feelings, (I’m still growing). Because as you know I keep it real.

So I saw this video and I thought it is a perfect 3.58mins of what I want to share today.

Please watch ⤵️⤵️

Hope you were blessed.

Remember to keep it real and stop worrying about what people think! 😇🙏😘

Pray For The Other Woman

God morning,

Just a quick one today. My pastor was preaching last night and when he said this statement, I thought of you all.
He says: “Aren’t you tired of praying for yourself and not getting any results?”

“Remember Job prayed for his friends and the Lord blessed him”.

Jobs 42:1-17

10 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

We are so concerned about ourselves, what we want God to do for us. But how many times have we gotten up and prayed and fasted on a friends behalf, a friend,…

Who is jobless

Who isn’t married

Who desires to have a child

Who is not saved

Who is struggling financially

Who is having marital issues

Who is having emotional and physiological issues

Who is struggling to pray

Who is making the wrong decisions in life, and so on

I do this occasional (fast and pray for a friend or other that cross my mind), without them knowing.

Let us rise up together and really start practising what a true Titus woman is all about.

Philippians 2:3-4, Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.

Be blessed as you intercede for the other woman. Make it a challenge today and start praying for your friends.  😇🙏😘.

As always, this is…

Multitude Of Counsel.

Good morning,

***LONG POST ALERT***

I hope I don’t sound like I am ranting to you all this morning. 😊.

So sometime recently I posted as usual and a friend reposted it and someone else responded saying they didn’t understand what my post was about and also stated that why do people now adays think they can just take to social media and start talking.

Usually I would have been so upset by it and you know really feel so down about it.

So I paused and asked myself this question. WHY DID YOU START THIS BLOG???

It definitely was not my own doing, because I tell you it takes great effort to do this blog and I’m not just doing it because I’m jobless. I think I’m quite a busy person to add more problems to my problems. I don’t make any money from this blog and I’m not doing it to become known, (if in the furture it happens then all glory to God).

As I was complaining to God about the whole thing, the Holy Spirit put it in my heart, that in the multitude of great counsel there is wisdom. He also reminded me that the day everyone likes you, then you are definitely not in my will.

Proverbs 11:14, Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellers there is safety.

You see there are too many people on this earth, they can never be enough messengers. Mr A might never here Messenger A’s teaching but will by the grace of God find Messenger B’s teaching, which I’ll bring healing and wisdom to solve their problems.

Then in that moment I knew and was more confident in what I am doing on this blog. I have by the grace of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit helped so many and still doing so and I’m going to keep on doing so.

At the end of the day. The word of God is meant to set us free and bring healing unto us.

Psalm 107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

But you see not everyone who is in a high position, like a famous pastors wife, preacher, motivational speaker and so on, qualifies to advice. I believe the wisdom of God and experiences of life qualifies anyone to shed their light on a matter, and we can agree to disagree.

I know that people would rather listen to a big name like Oprah Winfrey and other big people because they are famous and look like they are filled with wisdom.

Like I always tell you all “I DONT KNOW ANYTHING I AM JUST BEING LED AS I WRITE”.  But then I was recently in a meeting and one of our bishops said this statement and I was like wow I must address this issue.

He said: “Just because she is A pastor’s wife doesn’t mean she is spiritual and qualifies to lead the women”.

He went on to say “She might be a pastor’s choice, but not God’s choice to then qualify to be the leader of the women”.’

“Because maybe when the pastor chose her, they weren’t even born again.
She should prove over time that she qualifies to advices not just because she’s the pastors wife”.

I just want to use today’s post to encourage anybody out there, if you know you are called, don’t let the so-called bigger people and all the people around you bring you down. If you are not called time will tell.

Remember this scripture…

Luke 4:18,The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

If you believe you are called to do whatever you are doing, stay true, strong and stay firm. Believe in your God who has chosen you and sooner or later your works will show.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Bishop Dag said in one of his daily quiet times…

“Spiritual, emotional and psychological problems are the most difficult to solve. Doctors often struggle with these problems to no avail. The diagnosis and treatment of spiritual, emotional and psychological problems are the most difficult areas of medicine. But God has a solution. The solution is in His Word.

A daily dose of God’s powerful Word will bring healing to every inner wound. How was Jesus going to heal the broken-hearted? Through the Word of God! The Word of God has a way of healing us of our pain and wounds. God will touch you where it hurts if you will allow Him. He will heal you of every situation in your life.

God also heals our bodies. The Bible says that His words are life and health to the flesh (Proverbs 4:22). The flesh means the physical body . I would like to quote to you a very interesting article I read in Reader’s Digest:

“The notion that religious faith can promote physical wellbeing is not new. Most of us have heard of cases in which someone, seemingly by sheer faith and will, has miraculously recovered from a terminal illness or survived far longer than doctors thought possible. What is new is that such rewards of religion are becoming the stuff of science.”
It may sound difficult to believe, but God’s Word actually brings healing
to our physical bodies”.

Above all one of the great commands we were given in the bible as women was in…

Titus 2:3-5, which is the foundation on which this blog was built. So in that sense I am not apologetic for writing and I will keep doing so by the power invested in me by God through His Son Jesus Christ.

We need more people to rise up and write. Just like the world has so many people blogging about fashion, sex, relationships and so on. Let us also write with the influence of God like in the bible days to bring light, wisdom and healing to God’s people.

Be Encouraged. Let us keep spreading the word and thank God for all the great women and men sharing their wisdom. God will do the rest. 😇🙏😘

Blessings and as always this is…

Why Not Him??? 🤷‍♀️

Good morning,

I am sorry I haven’t written to you this week. Work has been overwhelming (glory be to God).

So today I want to share a conversation I had recently with a certain lady.

Me: why won’t you considered this brother, I think you’ll work. Don’t you agree?

Lady: No I am not interested.

Me: But you have great chemistry ☺️😊 WHY NOT HIM???

Lady: 😒 How can you be with someone who brings out the worst in you.

Me: 😱😨😳😲😧 WOW true talk.

In that moment it hit me. She was being wise and had paid good attention to have know this fact.

Having good chemistry doesn’t always mean it will work. These two banter a lot and the guy really likes her. But when she made this statement I looked back into so many other relationships, that I know either the guy or the lady had brought out the worst in the other.

I guess this is another thing you have to add to the list of things to look out for in your choice of spouse.

Does this person encourage you to be a better man or woman. Are they like unfortunately our dear mother Eve, who led Adam into making a bad decision in also eating of the fruits.

Gen 3:6, And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Or like a Abigail who’s husband Nabal nearly cost them their lives. Thank God she  didn’t listen to his foolish ways and turned the situation around and pleaded for David’s mercies. Well Nabal still lost his life in the process.

Read full story: 1 Samuel 25

One of the things I always thank God for in my husband is, no matter how unhappy I am with someone, my husband will never stop talking to them. He will tell me that is between me and the person and I should work it out and vice versa.

I know a few couple whom whereby when one is not talking or in a misunderstanding with someone, then the other also carries up the malice cross and follows the wife or husband to stop taking to the person.

In a relationship, you must be able to correct each other and set each other straight and not encourage bad behaviour.

You must avoid letting the other half develop certain traits like becoming defensive or justifying themselves all the time. Even things like the person becoming timid and unable to express themselves out of trying to remain in love.

All these things are unhealthy in a long run for the relationship.

This doesn’t only go for relationships. As I was writing it occurred to me, that they are some friendships you need to let go of.  This is because the person is not bringing out the best in you. They are not fruitful in the relationship. They bring you down and make you feel insecure and like you have to match up to them all the time.

A good friend must be able to influence you for greater things and want to see you succeed as much as themselves. They must be genuinely concerned about your well being.

Once again choose wisely and don’t let CHEMISTRY fool you. Test the spirit behind the potential spouse. Don’t just look at what it looks like on the surface. Look deeper!

Be blessed and as always, this is

My Source.

Good morning,

The Lord is good, all the time and all the time, my God is sooooooo good.

Well straight to what I want to talk to you about today… Last weekend as I was in a conversation with some people, as we shared what we get up to in our private lives. I mention church and one of the ladies asked

“WHY DO I NEED TO GO TO CHURCH ALL THE TIME”

I was tempted to just quote these two  scriptures

Hebrew 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Psalm 133 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

But then I held my tongue and thought to myself, Marian why did you need the church.

  1. The church is my source of life
  2. My source of inspiration
  3. My source of wisdom
  4. I needed the church for comfort
  5. To help me live a better and Holy life
  6. To find people of equal believes
  7. To gain knowledge from the brethren
  8. The church helped counsel me on my problems as much as they can.
  9. If we can go to life coaches, why can’t we go to church where they will even help us tunr our hearts to God.
  10. The church gave me a reason to believe in myself that I can also work for God.

Bishop Dag Heward Mills said..,

Spiritual, emotional and psychological problems are the most difficult to solve.

What is new is that such rewards of religion are becoming the stuff of science.”
It may sound difficult to believe, but God’s Word actually brings healing to our physical bodies.

Where else will you hear great counselling like that???🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

If it was up to me, churches won’t exist because I don’t think people use church for the right reasons. If I wasn’t in church I wouldn’t be married today.

Even if I was, I wouldn’t have learnt how to be as submissive and patient as I am trying to be. I wouldn’t have met men and women of God who will counsel me and lead me on the right path.

We do need the church, I read this quote

As believers, church attendance is of high importance. It is a place we can all come together to worship, be encouraged, and learn from God’s words for spiritual growth.

We can all say that we will do church at home, but honestly how many times do you get up and pray or read the bible, or do deep bible study. When more people are around the environment and atmosphere of prayer is different, it encourages.

Please people try and ignore all the other things that happens in church, it is normal for when a lot of people of different nature, background and upbringing to have different views.

Even in a normal household, siblings fight. Why can’t we forgive our Christian siblings and believe that we are all in church to better ourselves. If you set a good example and dwell with people against all odds, others will one day come to the same understanding.

We together make the church. The church building is just a place that we go to fellowship. A place we go to rejuvenate. I love this picture.

Let us bring hope to the people and let God use us to change the hearts of the people and draw them closer to him.

Matthew 5:16, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Be blessed always. This is…

Get Moving

Good morning,

As I woke up slightly disheartened from something I read that nearly sown a seed of doubt in my heart, I pondered and asked God to give me a word. He gave me this scripture Romans 10:10-11. So I did my quiet time on this scripture and I am uplifted and I am going to keep on moving. Praise Jesus.

I’ll share the scripture and also a read from yesterday by Bishop Dag with you.

Be blessed!

QUIET TIME SCRIPTURE

Romans 10:10-11

Prayer points

  • Believe in God that he will never fail.
  • Believe that he has called me
  • The Lord will not put me to shame.
  • I believe in my heart that I am righteous
  • I believe and confess I have salvation.

THANK YOU JESUS!!!

GET MOVING

 by Dag Heward-Mills

 READ: John 11:28-45

Luke 14:21,…Go out quickly…and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.

Most important things are not urgent. Important things are often unattractive and uninviting. It is difficult to be faithful with what God considers important.

For instance, prayer without ceasing is one of the most important things for us to do (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Yet, we lack a sense of urgency when it comes to prayer. In times of trouble, you often cannot have faith. While you are in the trouble, you will feel like calling on God but fear and anxiety will grip your heart. It is almost impossible to pray under those circumstances. Then you will realize how important it was for you to have prayed.

Have you ever wondered why Jesus did not pray when He was arrested? It is because He had finished praying before the crisis began.

To preach the Gospel and to win the lost is another very important instruction (Matthew 28:19, 20). But often there is no sense of urgency to fulfil that command. The fact that you don’t feel any pressure does not mean that it is not important. Pressure does not always signify the importance of a command. It is a great thing to obey the Lord even when we are not under pressure to do so.

It takes greater faithfulness and diligence to perform duties that do not appear urgent or important.

Just to add my two pence……. like I always tell you guys, I am not perfect neither do I know it all. I am just sharing how I am dealing with things or how others have.

Start praying now for your future, start praying now for your husband, wife children, ministry, career. We can’t just sit there and wallow in self pity. Let’s get moving on sowing these seeds of prayer and tell everything you are struggling with to also “GET MOVING”

  • Get moving  spiritual attacks
  • Get moving division
  • Get moving separation
  • Get moving unwanted spirits
  • Get moving financial decline.
  • Get moving anxiety
  • Get moving doubt
  • Get moving sicknesses
  • Get moving sin
  • Get moving O’ Mountain
  • Get moving spirit of fear
  • Get moving accusers
  • Get moving haters

Etc..

We have to “GET MOVING” and believe that our faith can move mountains.

Yours always, this is…

The Available Becomes The Wanted

Good morning,

I came across a clip recently about a man finding comfort in the arms of his maid. The clip portrayed his wife always working, doesn’t clean or cook nor have regular sex with her husband. She instructed the maid to take good care of her husband, and attend to his every need, she kept emphasising on his every need part.

Now this lady being very naive, took it literally and when the husband made a pass at her, she concluded it was part of her duties as her boss did say “every need“.

Well all jokes apart………….Men like service, they love attention and demand a lot of care. Am average man likes a woman that massages his ego. A woman that shows respect and is submissive.

When we read the account of Vashti, she didn’t play her role well and she was replaced.

Esther 1:10-12, 10 On the seventh day, when King Xerxes was in high spirits from wine, he commanded the seven eunuchs who served him—Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, Abagtha, Zethar and Karkas— 11 to bring before him Queen Vashti, wearing her royal crown, in order to display her beauty to the people and nobles, for she was lovely to look at. 12 But when the attendants delivered the king’s command, Queen Vashti refused to come. Then the king became furious and burned with anger.

Esther 1:19, 19 “Therefore, if it pleases the king, let him issue a royal decree and let it be written in the laws of Persia and Media, which cannot be repealed, that Vashti is never again to enter the presence of King Xerxes. Also let the king give her royal position to someone else who is better than she.

Esther on the other hand knew how to play the role very well. She was very submissive and used a lot of wisdom to dwell with her man, a king at that.

You see when an average man cheats and cheats but never leaves home, I think it is because deep down in his heart he still loves his wife, but because he isn’t satisfied at home, he looks elsewhere and probably wishes it was his wife he was with each time.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not condoning nor making excuses for men. I believe a trully God fearing man should refrain from such sin no matter his situation at home and get counselling.

Let us not ruin our own home with our own hands. Let us play our roles with great wisdom and not manipulation. Let us be fortified with prayer constantly for God to shield our homes from strange women.

A great woman…, she rises also while it is still night And gives food to her household And portions to her maidens.

Proverbs 31:15,

Don’t send another friend, mother or sister to do your duties. If you are going to be away for some time, cook and portion them  into the fridge or freezer. If you have to get a maid, get one that leaves on the same day if possible. Don’t let the help attend to your husbands personal needs.

Because remember ladies “When the wanted is not available the available will become the wanted”.

Yours always😘🙏😇, this is…
