Good morning,

So as I woke up this morning asking God what to write about and also telling God I can’t think straight, I practically prayed all night and dozed off in between lol πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚. I’ve got a lot on my mind which I will gladly share very soon, I heard the word rest.

Then as usual whenever I am thinking of something BDHM writes about it. I promise you I am not just making this up. It amazes me too. As I wanted to read the daily quiet time is see the title called Rest. 😳😊.

I guess it is a confirmation. And I am going to do just that.

Enjoy the read and if you don’t hear from me, I am very well,  I’m just resting. I will write whenever I can but for now, I am resting. God bless you all and I love you all. πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ˜˜.

READ: Mark 6:7-13; 30-31

Isaiah 40:31, But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength… they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the power and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1: 24, But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Jesus Christ was not just powerful. When you become a Christian, Jesus comes to help you by being the power and the wisdom of God in your life. Christians become unbalanced when they just take the power of God and leave out the wisdom. You need both the power and the wisdom, if you want to make it in this life.

Medical science can transplant hearts today and solve many problems. Many children would be dead from various diseases like malaria, convulsions, and measles if there were no medicines.

God has given us the wisdom to think and to have common sense. One time, Jesus told His disciples to go aside and rest awhile. He told them to rest. That is wisdom.

Why did Jesus tell His disciples to rest? There are many diseases that come from not resting. My wife is always suggesting that I rest. It is common sense to rest when you need to. Jesus ministered to the sick but He did sensible and practical things too.

  1. So true. This morning during my Tuesday monthly prayer meeting. We were led to pray against burn out from work and personal life. Whilst I understand the importance of prayer, it is also important to use wisdom, self awareness and ultimately Christian need to k ow when to and refuel.
