Loyal People

Good morning,

It is such a blessing to have wisdom right at your door.

I read this quiet time by BDHM the other day and it blessed me.

As an entrepreneur, one of my greatest challenges in the nearly eight years I have been running my business, is the ability to find loyal people to work for me. Though I had been blessed with a few pass by.

At this point of the business I need faithful, loyal and permanent staff. Please read on⤵️

READ: Genesis 37:1-4

…And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan.

2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.

3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.

4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

Numbers 14:24

…Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully…

Wrongdoers abound in every sphere of life. They steal, cheat, under-invoice and overinvoice. The list is endless. Loyal people expose wrongdoers to the leadership.

One loyal person will keep an eye on all these people. Such a person is worth a lot to the manager.

A truly loyal person does not mind what people think about him. He will expose every crooked activity to his superior because he is genuinely loyal to him. Loyalty is a sign of good character. However, a loyal person will sometimes incur the displeasure and hatred of the people he exposes. Remember the example of Joseph.

Joseph was loyal to his father. He did not care what his brothers thought about him and constantly reported their evil deeds to their father, Jacob. The price of loyalty was the hatred of his brothers. Loyalty also had its rewards. Jacob developed a special affinity and love for Joseph in particular. Unfortunately, many managing directors, leaders, presidents and pastors do not know the value of a loyal person and therefore do not reward that loyal person for his loyalty. They treat loyal people as ordinary people.

By studying this story you will see how the loyalty of Joseph and the disloyalty of his brothers led to Jacob’s special love for Joseph. I believe in placing value on loyalty.
The question now is…

What do you do for people who are loyal to you?

The answer, if you didn’t get the whole is thing, is that loyal people are to be rewarded and valued.

We also have to show our gratitude by being faithful to them through rewards for their loyalty. Loyalty breeds loyalty.

Luke 16:12, And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

My prayer is that anyone like me who is in great need of loyal workers, loyal church members/workers, loyal clients and even loyal friends will be blessed with them in the name of Jesus.

Have a blessed and fulfilled day. 😇🙏😘
