Prophecy!

Good morning,

Prophecy

A prophecy is a message inspired by God, a divine revelation. The Bible says that prophets β€œspoke from God as they were moved by holy spirit.” (2 Peter 1:20, 21

A friend asked me a question the other day about prophesies

Friend:- When we are given a prophecy how do we make sure it comes to pass

Me:- well it is not in our place to make them come to pass. But there are a few things I believe takes us to the promise land.

Before I go further in what I said I mentioned this example.

Example:- Two completely separate friends of mine whom are unlikely to cross paths were told they will be the president of a certain cabin same country one day.

When I look into their lives right now, especially one in particular, all his actions are far away from coming this prophecy coming to pass…

….Hmmmm

1 Corinthians 1:27, But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Then I carried on to say…

…There are two things that aids us in making prophecies come to pass

1.) God gave us free will, so this free will can affect the results of the prophesies we have been given. Either it will completely abort the prophecy or just take longer. Which means we have to make sure we learn the lessons we are meant to along the way.

2.) Gods perfect will also determines the outcome of a prophecy. Which means no matter how we try to ruin it along the way, He manages to take us through.

What happens along the way to the prophecy is what determines if the prophesy will come to pass or it’s outcome.

Let’s read when God’s will is at work along a prophecy…

…Exodus 3:17, And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites–a land flowing with milk and honey.’

When God gave the Israelites this prophecy, there was something that struck out to me in everything that happened on their journey…

There was a lot of disobedience from Moses and the people. This caused a less than 2 weeks journey to take 40years. There were not content and were in a hurry to attain the prophecy ( but you see God can not give you something you are not ready for).

Matthew 7:6, Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Remember when a prophecy come, it is an urgent call to the battle ground, time for warfare.

Matt. 13:19-20, When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the one who received seed beside the path”

When God gives a prophetic word, and you don’t understand he will confirm it through His servants. Prophecies can come through a word or even in a vision, which some people can miss interpret (read the accounts of Joseph’s dreams).

Our prayers should be

  1. Father Lord please lead me on the right path to this prophecy.
  2. May I not be blinded by the prophecy
  3. May I not use my own free will to abort this prophecy
  4. Above all, God’s perfect will be done.

This is for when it is not something positive. (Like a death or destruction, because remember not all prophecies are somethings sweet and beautiful. (“If all your prophet says is good all the time, question him or her”, by BDHM)

  1. Pray againist it if you don’t want it
  2. Pray for grace to deal with the prophecy when it comes.
  3. Above all pray that God’s perfect will be done.

But another important thing I want to remind you is DO NOT DEVELOP ITCHY EARS. WHATEVER A PROPHET IS TELLING YOU SHOULD EITHER BE A CONFIRMATION OF WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY TOLD YOU OR HE IS GENUINELY PROCLAIMING THE BLESSINGS OF GOD UPON YOU WHICH WILL COME TO PASS IF YOU BELIEVE AND IF IT IS GOD’s WILL.

Be blessed and have a fantastic day πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ˜˜.

Loyal People

Good morning,

It is such a blessing to have wisdom right at your door.

I read this quiet time by BDHM the other day and it blessed me.

As an entrepreneur, one of my greatest challenges in the nearly eight years I have been running my business, is the ability to find loyal people to work for me. Though I had been blessed with a few pass by.

At this point of the business I need faithful, loyal and permanent staff. Please read on‡️

LOYAL PEOPLE
by Dag Heward-Mills

READ: Genesis 37:1-4

…And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan.

2 These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.

3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.

4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

Numbers 14:24

…Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully…

Wrongdoers abound in every sphere of life. They steal, cheat, under-invoice and overinvoice. The list is endless. Loyal people expose wrongdoers to the leadership.

One loyal person will keep an eye on all these people. Such a person is worth a lot to the manager.

A truly loyal person does not mind what people think about him. He will expose every crooked activity to his superior because he is genuinely loyal to him. Loyalty is a sign of good character. However, a loyal person will sometimes incur the displeasure and hatred of the people he exposes. Remember the example of Joseph.

Joseph was loyal to his father. He did not care what his brothers thought about him and constantly reported their evil deeds to their father, Jacob. The price of loyalty was the hatred of his brothers. Loyalty also had its rewards. Jacob developed a special affinity and love for Joseph in particular. Unfortunately, many managing directors, leaders, presidents and pastors do not know the value of a loyal person and therefore do not reward that loyal person for his loyalty. They treat loyal people as ordinary people.

By studying this story you will see how the loyalty of Joseph and the disloyalty of his brothers led to Jacob’s special love for Joseph. I believe in placing value on loyalty.
The question now is…

What do you do for people who are loyal to you?

The answer, if you didn’t get the whole is thing, is that loyal people are to be rewarded and valued.

We also have to show our gratitude by being faithful to them through rewards for their loyalty. Loyalty breeds loyalty.

Luke 16:12, And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

My prayer is that anyone like me who is in great need of loyal workers, loyal church members/workers, loyal clients and even loyal friends will be blessed with them in the name of Jesus.

Have a blessed and fulfilled day. πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ˜˜

Girls like Boys…

Good morning,

Have you ever heard this statement before

Girls like boys faaaaaar more than boys like girls“. By BDHM

So during a meeting recently my husband/pastor brought it up and the revelation he gave to justify this was amazing. So I though to share.

Remember this scripture when God said…

Genesis 3:16, Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

When God was distributing the punishments for our disobedience, one of the curses the for women was that “thy desire shall be to thy husband and he shall rule over thee”.

So when you see that no matter how bitter, angry a woman is towards her husband or no matter what he has done to her, when you ask her, she will still tell you she loves him.

No matter how controlling the man is or how much she wants to leave, she just can’t understand why she still loves him.

THIS PART IS VERY IMPORTANT.

“Then he added that it means that women do not have a choice than to love the man. But men do have a choice in deciding wherther or not to love a woman.”

You can be married to and man and he doesn’t love you but just decided to be with you.

These are partly reason why you find a man been able to say he loves two women at a time. He can make the choice.

Scripture also tells us that God’s desire is that a man should love his wife and in doing so his prayers will be answered. There are so many scriptures to back it up, here are a few we know…

Colossians 3:19, Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.

AND…

1 Peter 3:7, ikewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

The way to mitigate this curse is to be blessed to have a spirit filled man, then he will love you just as much as you love him and also only you.

Pray that the love of God will fill your husband or husband to be’s heart so that he will love you truthfully.

Pray that he is a man that loves the lord then he will love you

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,

HE WILL HAVE NO CHOICE IN DECIDEING TO LOVE YOU.

So if you have heard that saying before, just like me it finally makes sense.

Be blessed and have a great week πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ˜Š

πŸ˜ƒ Happiness Is A Choice

Good morning,

I was out last night still celebrating my king and in the restaurant we where at I saw this on the wall

“Happiness Is A Choice”.

I mean, what a word right!!!

I tell everyone around me all the time that it is indeed up to you to have a happy life.

The ability to remain sane, to forgive and let peace reign, to say sorry though you know you were right is all up to you.

Your happiness doesn’t lie in the hands of any human being but in yourself and with the sweet influence of the Holy Spirit.

There are various things that gives us happiness such as…

1.)  Being Loved

2.) Self Confidence

3.) Dependency on God

4.) Good health

5.) Wealth

Our greatest desire is to be happy, lacking anyone of these things can sometimes cause us to being unhappy.

Happiness is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:22-23, But the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

If we keep attributing our happiness to a certain thing or person we can become very disappointed. This is because we keep looking for happiness in the wrong things or the wrong people.

The greatest source of our happiness is God.

Psalm 144:15, “Happy are the people whose God is the Lord”.

When you allow the sweet influence of the Holy Spirit to come upon you, you will find grace to be happy even in the bleak and darkest times.

God wants us to be happy, he wants us to see him as our source of life and all other things pertaining to godliness

2 Peter 1:3, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

My dearest saints in the Lord, happiness is your portion. Make it mandetory that you will choose to be happy.

But you must seek that happiness in the Lord, make him your only source.

Psalms 37:4, Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Remain blessed and HAPPY!!! πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ˜‡πŸ˜

A Good Friend or A Good Lover?ο»Ώ

Good morning, I was meant to have posted this yesterday, but I didn’t. Now I know I have to after a conversation I had with someone else again about this same topic yesterday evening. The ability to choose in remaining friends or becoming lovers is of great importance. Job 34:4 “Let us choose for ourselves… Continue reading A Good Friend or A Good Lover?ο»Ώ

Voice of the Holy spirit

Good morning

2. Depend on the holy spirit for your marriage β€œand home.

Psalm 23:2, he maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me besides still waters.

With this point, I am going to briefly talk about how children and pride can affect a marriage.

I was talking to my husband last night, that when people see us, they think wow they are having life on a bed roses. You see it’s not always true, it takes constant work.

I have seen a lot of marriages around me, some are genuine and some you know it’s on the rocks. But the ability to carry it well is what paints the picture people around see.

Pride is the biggest problem in a marriage. With us, we talk about everything and anything no matter how silly it may seem or sound. We constantly keep allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to us and convict us individually of when we have done wrong.

It is hard to own up when you were so sure that you were right. It doesn’t make you foolish or the sucker, instead it should give you power.

That is what the Holy Spirit is there, for to ensure that we change our ways.

Take this expample of when Pharaoh finally realised his ways. As we know it could have only taken God to indeed turn the heart of a king.

Exodus 9:27, And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the Lord is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

The ability to accept that you are unrighteousness and neither is your spouse will constantly encourage change and the ability to be remain humble.

Children is also another reason marriages have issues. When the couple do not agree on how one parent disciplines the child, or didn’t discipline the child and many more.

We have to remember that these children are going to leave us one day. We are justtheir guide into life and into the following of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do not allow the devil to use your child against your marriage, when they are gone it will be left with just you two and you have to go back to the beginning, so that this blessing in this scripture will be your portion.

Proverbs 5:18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

As long as you keep teaching them in the way of the Lord together, just like you promised when took those vows on the dedication day, all we be well.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Also don’t argue in front of the children, they will take sides depending on what they hear, don’t talk about your spouse to your children or criticise your spouse in front of your children.

You are creating a division in the family and corrupting the bond a family should hold.

Proverbs 11:29, 29 Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise

I pray today that anyone going through any issues in their marriage or aspiring to be married will overcome pride in the name of Jesus.

The devil will not use your children against you, in the name of Jesus.

Receive healing grace, mercy and wisdom in that marriage or in that relationship aspiring to marriage in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen…

Be blessed πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ˜˜
