Do you sometimes think…
What if I wasn’t born into this family
What if I was a different sex
What if I never met this friend
What if I didn’t marry this man/woman
What if I had a different career
What if I was younger/older
What if I was of a different race.
What if, What if…
Am just thinking of how the types of people, friends, spouses and family we are associated with can determine or change our destiny.
We have thoughts that go through our minds. But most of us are too afraid to explore them or even acknowledge that we have such thoughts.
I know some can be embarrassing or a bit over the top but let’s be real with our thoughts. We all think of these things, especially when we are going through a hard time.
I don’t believe in regrets, rather I believe in learning from my mistakes.
Wondering What If?, wouldn’t solve the problem, otherwise Jesus should have also wished his destiny could have been changed. If that had happened we wouldn’t have had grace at our mercy.
Rather Jesus said,…
Matthew 26:39, And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
The poor do not wish to be born poor, nor the unable wish to be born that way, but that was thier destiny.
When you get to that point of uncertainty don’t wish you were not associated with the situations, people or things you are associated with, instead keep hope and have faith in our Lord God’s promises…
Ephesians 3:20, Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Jabez’s destiny was changed by a single prayer.
1 Chronicles 4:9-10, And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
There is nothing that is too hard for our God. He is the Master Destiny Changer, even if we are not with the right people, family, life style and so.
Our prayer should be that his perfect will be done in our destiny, and if it looks bleak he should please have mercy on us.
I pray that our destinies, if needs changing be changed in Jesus name. May we be in the right place at the right time and with the right people. May we walk in the perfect will of God. May our destinies be changed for our greater good.
Amen…Be blessed. 😘😇🙏
