I believe you had a great weekend. Have a blessed week, and may you receive a miracle this week in Jesus name. Amen.
So was at joint service last night and the topic was about “Biblical Solutions“.
The Bishop preached on James 5:13-16. That prayer is the answer to all our problems.
James 5:13-16, 13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
He used the example of always feeling depressed and oppressed when going through an affliction, and said PRAY is the only solution.
Am sure we’ve heard that so many times. But it seems we are never satisfied with that. Unfortunately brethren PRAYER is the only answer.
He also gave an example of The Lord’s Prayer
Matthew 6:9-10, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
When we ask for Gods will to be done just as it is in heaven, it means all the answers to our problems and our needs are already in heaven, prepared and waiting for our collection.
There is something in heaven that requires us on earth to call it forth. So if you don’t ask, seek and knock for the door to be open, you cannot call it forth.
Matthew 7:7, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
There is nothing impossible for God, but being afraid to ask will hinder you from receiving that breakthrough.
The is no simultaneous equation, no amount of brackets a pastor gives you to wear daily of body creams and so on will solve your problem, it’s not scriptural anyway. The key to the answer cupboard is PRAYER.
Things to do!
1.) STOP feeling sad, rise up and
2.) Find a scripture relating to your problem. (Use google, e.g scriptures on breakthrough)
3.) Use the scripture to PRAY.
Philippians 4:6, Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
4.) Believe, have faith and leave he rest to God.
Mark 11:24, Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
