The Hustler…

Good afternoon,

So this morning when I woke up, I wanted to talk about the husband the hustler.

2 Timothy 2:6, It is the hard-working farmer who ought to have the first share of the crops.

The word hustler from various findings means

* H.U.S.T.L.E.R – How U Survive This Life Everyday, Resourcefully.

* An enterprising person determined to succeed; go-getter.

* People who are forced to use their Brains to make it in this world.

* Someone that makes money in any way they can. (Legally…Amen…)

And so on…

I use the word “hustler” because most of the men who have become professionals, great men, successful business men, entrepreneurs and so on, started from being a hustler especially in the early 20s or early 30s, in what ever job title they were in.

I talk about the genuine man who found they had to sacrifice a lot, invest a lot, working late hours doing everything they can to make money and provide a certain life style for thier family.

At this point of their lives,  most of these men fall short when it comes to how they behave with their family. You find that at a result of this hard work he is not home all the time he has even become very unapproachable he has retracted into his own world becomes touchy, aggressive, can also have less corncern for sexual relations and so on.

The bible does say in…

2 Thessalonians 3:10-12, For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.

This is not the time to allow the devil to speak to you. I sometimes think that must have been what happened to eve, Genesis 3, and caused her to yield to the devil, because Adam wasn’t around.

We have to develop a staying power at this point and understand the sacrifice. Most of these men don’t even realise they are being this anti social to their family.

Be patient with them, it is just for a short period of time.

1.) Woman make yourself happy

2.) Put your focus on other things

3.) Support your man.

4.) Don’t worry if he never remembers your sacrifice

6.) PRAY for him that he will remember and his heart be turned back to his family.

Proverbs 16:3, Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

Be blessed.
